Attrition Can Kill Your Network Marketing Business

network marketing attritionAttrition can kill your network marketing business…if you let it.

Here’s what happens…

You finally make a monthly autoship sale…3 months later…they cancel their order.

Or you finally sponsor that new person that you’re certain will be the next rockstar…a few months later they become “inactive”….then a few months after that they cancel their account entirely.

When this stuff happens, it’s a crappy feeling. It’s discouraging….And if you let it, it can even kill your business.

You stop making sales, you stop sponsoring new people because you think to yourself, what’s the point, they’re just going to end up quitting…

Don’t let this happen to you. Don’t take on this mindset.

What’s important to understand is that these things ARE going to happen. Customers are going to cancel their monthly autoship, people on your team are going to go inactive, and some perople are even going to quit completely.

These things happen…and there’s nothing we can do it about it. This is a “2 steps forward, 1 step back” type of business for most of us. Sometimes it may even be 2 steps forwards, 4 steps back…

When you know that it’s going to happen, you can “vaccinate” yourself and your mindset so that when it does happen, it’s not a big deal.

This is kind of embarrassing to admit, but I’ve probably had more people quit, than most people have sponsored.

I understand that this business is not for everyone. Some get signed up and are not sure what to expect. Some may think it’s going to be easy…whatever the reason…sometimes people quit.

Here’s what I tell myself…”one person can’t make or break my business”…and it’s true. In the grand scheme of things, it’s just one person. If they don’t want to work their business, I can’t force them.

So when a customer cancels, or a person on your team quits…don’t let it get you down. It’s going to happen. How you deal with it is what is important.

“The good news is, for you, is that most people in life quit. So, staying in the game is half the battle and puts you light years ahead of others.” – Robert Kiyosaki
